I WANT TO ROCK YOUR WORLD
If you tell me you are happy and at peace with the religion of your choice, I will tell you that the worldis not happy and at peace. If you tell me that your God is a jealous God, I will tell you I think I can prove your concept of God is mistaken. If you tell me that what you believe has worked for generations, I will tell you that while it has guided many to follow a good moral path, it has also guided others to commit atrocities in the name of that God and that religion. If you tell me that you have attained salvation, I will tell you that although you may be right because of the way you have lived your life, it will not help the human race avoid extinction. For the human race to achieve salvation, we need to reach a higher level of consciousness. I am advancing the concept of proligion as the way to get there. If a sufficient number of good people join in the effort, I believe we can save the race.
Unless you are a person who thinks God can create conscious life by just pointing a finger or willing it to be so, you must realize we may be throwing away millions or billions of years of evolutionary progress (if that is the way we came about), should we fail to learn to live in peace; and, in my opinion, to do that wehave to become united through knowledge. It is the only thing of substance that can help us.
Finally, if you tell me a good God would not approve of proligion, I would tell you, again, that you are mistaken. Furthermore, I stake the salvation of my soul on that statement. What would a good God want,the integration of peoples of good mind and will or our disintegration?What does common sense tell you is the answer?
