ERCIAN TESTAMENT
The Teachings of Proligion and Ercian Philosophy*
*Note: As of June 4, 2011, my Proligious position will be championed by THE ERCIAN RELIGION and Philosophy, not just as a philosopher how it began, but from now on mainly as a RELIGIOUS LEADER.
Are any of the gods portrayed in the Koran, the Torah, or the Bible, the true "Ultimate" God? The author presents convincing arguments and four logical proofs to the contrary. Step by step Joseph exposes the true nature of the Infinite Source and Ultimate God, a reality he has named ERC.
Joseph does not ask you to have faith or believe in what he writes. All he asks is for the reader to use the power of reason to follow his proofs and stop worshiping a false "Ultimate" God, the Reality that is past-eternal, the Cause of causes. Why is that important? It is important for personal salvation but, moreover, it is crucial for the salvation of the human race to avoid our extinction and do what we need to do to become a truly advanced civilization.
Is Joseph an atheist or an agnostic? No. Erc is not a conscious being. Joseph does not "worship" Erc. Joseph "knows" how Erc exists, period. However, beyond Erc, due to natural but out of the ordinary experiences in his life, Joseph believes in and "loves" a reality he calls ELLAEL, his personal God/Goddess and Holy Self. That brand of faith and love is conditional, provided Ellael proves to be a good moral being.
The main message in the book is that of "PROLIGION," a new religious consciousness that avoids the pitfalls of present religions and creates the foundation for a peaceful and prosperous world. "Ercian Philosophy" shows how we can become proligious.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Mr. Joseph Marchante was born in 1944. He is married with two children and four grandchildren. He left Cuba in 1961 after Castro came to power. On July 4, 1975 he became an American citizen and changed his name from Jose Luis Francisco Marchante Rey to Joseph Marchante. In Cuba he attended Marist Brothers High School where he graduated. After attending Bernard M. Baruch College, Hunter College, New York University, and Miami-Dade Community College, he finally graduated Phi Beta Kappa Summa Cum Laude from Florida International University in 2001 with a major in English and a minor in Philosophy. As a young man in New York, he worked for various companies: International General Electric, Columbian Carbon Company, Bankers Trust Company, and B.T. Bradford Stock Services where he was Division Head. In Miami, he pursued a career with the United States Postal Service as a clerk and retired in October 2003. From 2007 through 2009 he worked as a supervisor for DHL Global Services through their agent Mail Terminal Services. While working to earn a living for himself and his family, in his spare time Joseph read books on religion, philosophy, evolution, physics and subjects that would help him gain knowledge of God and our world. A profound thinker, the fruits of his efforts and analysis can be found in the book Ercian Testament. Joseph knows the messages he brings are key to our individual and collective salvation, and that no holy book comes closer to God and The Truth.
